The Keno the Cat Halloween 2011 Special Comic had been revealed!

I've just noticed, I've been posting news like crazy lately, when previously, I only had 1 post every 2 months.

Anyway, I've been working on a Halloween special comic for Keno the Cat, the problem was, what should I draw, here's some trivia, I was originally going to do a continuation of the Red Nose Day 2011 special, it would've taken place after Luca had landed, but that would require too many panels for what I had planned for the story and my drawing skills are below average, so it wouldn't turn out good.

So instead, I decided to do something rather simple, but with a twist, unlike any other Halloween special of anything, it's not scary, but it has alot to do with Halloween, how is this possible, well, read for yourself:

A (very) rough release "date" for Keno the cat has been confirmed.

We (well, I) have worked out an very rough release date for the Keno the cat game.

The game should be released at Q4 2012, or Early 2013, before the new Xbox has been announced at E3 2013.

The reason I'm releasing it then is because for one thing only 1 guy is making it, yours truly, and I'm making this my big project, so I need time to make it the best I can, It's not like Rossies 2, where the game is extremely simple, I want to add depth to this game, and alot of it, I want an epic storyline, great looking cutscenes (PC version will also have the option of Low-Poly Models), and variety to the game, not just the same stuff over and over and over again.

Even so, it still seams a bit much, but I'm slow and lazy, so I'll need all the time I can get.

In the mean time, like I did with Rossies 2, I'll be making the occasional Developer Blog entry, to tell youse how I'm doing, if your at all interested.

HTML5 Centring issues fixed!

This only concerns those who use the newer site, the older site didn't have this problem, for some reason.

I've found out that the then upcoming HTML 5 wouldn't be supporting the "< center >" tag, which I still to this day think is a bad idea, because to center even a small peice of text, like a name, like my signature "-Cobra!" thing at the bottom, which, opposed to the rest of the text on the whole page is aligned to the left, with HTML5, I would have to make the whole page centre aligned, and make that little piece of text a paragraph, which leaves a line break, if that's the right term, in between the text, which I don't want, or make it a heading, and by doing so it'll be a different size from the rest of the text, which, again, I don't want. See where I'm coming from, it's not very convenient, is it?

So I thought not to worry as most browsers still used 4.1, and that it would take a while for browsers to update it so that it would use HTML 5, but after only a couple of months, every modern browser used it, so it suddenly became an issue, although some people haven't complained about it, I guess because they think it's meant to be like that, but it isn't.

Nevertheless, after acquiring the knowledge of basic CSS, I've modified the code of every code of the site so that it will look like it should on HTML 5 browsers, with centred texts.

Just a note, I will not update the older news pages, it's just too much work, and for nostalgias sake in the future I'll leave them as they are and also to show much much we've evolved...

Quick Update: Just a heads up...

Have youse noticed that we haven't been active lately, as in, one update every 1.5 months, well, you should get used to this, it's not that I've lost faith on Gamerstorm, it's just rarely does something even remotely-exiting happens with us.

Alot does go on behind the scenes, I'm working on the next issue of Keno Chronicles, I'm working on the 3D models for the game, and I'm working on the story too, and for the site, I've been learning more HTML, some CSS and Javascript to improve the site, but lets be honest, posting updates about those won;t be very exiting, therefore putting visitors off the site, and if you ask me, I'd rather have something good happen rarely (a Klonoa game getting released.) as opposed to something boring happen all of the time (a new FIFA game getting released.)

So I just though I'd lets youse know that we haven't been doing nothing, we're actually very busy, it's just that nothing of interest or anything worth of posting happens

Saturday 1 October 2011

It's been a very busy week for Keno Dawting! Also, reason for site decay.

It's been almost 2 months since our last post, sorry if youse thought we were dead, because we aren't!

In those 2 months though, I managed to finish off Issue 1 of the Keno the cat Chronicles comic, if youse want to read it, go visit the official Keno the cat website.

Oh yeah! Speaking of, the official Keno the cat website is now up! To make things better, I've actually revealed a bit of the story on the site, so if youse want to check that out, go there now!

Oh and one last thing, notice anything different about this post than any other post? Well, of course you did! Keno now gets his own category in the news page! ...Alright, it isn't that exiting, but for the sake of completion, it's here.

Alright, you're probably wondering why we weren't active for a month, well, the reason is... we haven't done anything significant, nothing worth posting, and honestly, there's nothing else to it, that was really because half of the month, I was still waiting for the desk to be built, and trust me, that was a lot of hassle, and you know how you'd be on a break/holiday, you know how hard it is to get back to your usual progress if you know what I mean? Yeah, I felt like that, so I really didn't do much at all, sorry guys, I promise I'll work much harder next time, if I don't, fell free to send me death threats.
